DON'T Treat the whole family, without check for headlice first.
DON'T Give up - be thorough and be consistent.
DON'T Treat pets as headlice do not live on animals.
DO Always follow the instructions of prescribed treatment.
DO All traces of eggs.
DO Inform friends and school to check for possible headlice infestation.
DO If possible, place garments in hot clothes dryer for 15 minutes to dry.
DO Minimise close contact until headlice have been treated.
DO Wash brushes, combs, hats, sheets, towels and pillowcases in use, in HOT WATER (headlice survive in cold water).
